Our Journey

A Vision Born from the Highlands

Lone Resort & Spa began with a vision to create a sanctuary where travellers could experience authentic Kenyan hospitality while enjoying modern luxury.

What started as a modest 20-room lodge has grown into one of the region's most celebrated resorts, welcoming visitors from across the globe seeking tranquillity, adventure and genuine connection near Mt Kenya.

"Our goal has always been simple — create unforgettable experiences where nature, comfort and hospitality come together."

Today, every room, garden path and dish on our menu reflects our founders' promise: to honour the highland landscape and the people who call it home.
